Governing Board
The Governing Board provides organisational stewardship with representation from commercial, research, and public-interest security organisations.
The board stewards the Alliance’s mission, priorities, and responsible operation. Its range of perspectives helps connect technical development with product delivery, open ecosystems, research, infrastructure, and public cybersecurity needs.
Current board

- Simon Moore, University of Cambridge: Professor.
- Alex Richardson, Google: Senior Software Engineer.

Board membership is organisational governance, distinct from technical authority over every CHERI project. Working groups and project maintainers remain responsible for the status and content of their outputs.
People, roles, and affiliations can change. The Alliance’s live board page is the authoritative source for the current composition.
